Faculty Members
Prof. Yonit Hochberg
From an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, and graduate studies in Theoretical Particle Physics from the Weizmann Institute, Yonit joined the Racah Institute of Physics as a new faculty member in Fall 2017, after a postdoc position at UC Berkeley and Cornell. An avid fan of all things crocodilian, she is still hoping to have a physics-reason for a crocodile to appear in one of her future publications.
Prof. Eric Kuflik
From a Ph.D. in Michigan to a postdoc at Tel Aviv to a postdoc at Cornell, Eric joined the Racah Institute of Physics at the Hebrew University as a new faculty member in Fall 2017. Homer Simpson is his second favorite fictional character. He also loves hummus.
Dr. Ofri Telem
Ofri graduated in Physics and Mathematics in the Talpiyot Program at the Hebrew University, followed by an M.Sc. in Particle Theory from the Technion and a Ph.D. from Cornell. He joins the Racah Institute of Physics as a new faculty member in Fall 2022, after a postdoc position at UC Berkeley. He enjoys campfire guitar playing and singing in and out of the shower.
